YMCA Swim Teams

Splash into summer with one of the YMCA's June Swim Teams!

Swimming is one of the most healthy activities you can do. It helps better your breathing, gives you a low-impact way to build muscle on just about every part of your body, is less stressful on your body than most other kinds of exercise, and is one of the most calming exercises, meaning it’s good for your mental health as well.

Swim team benefits include:

  • Trained coaches work to improve swimmers’ skill level, endurance, and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
  • Individual teams organized by ability levels.
  • Practice focus includes improving and refining four competitive strokes, sets, starts, and finishes.
  • Swimmers compete with other Y's and swim clubs at two area meets. 
  • A swim cap will be provided.

Try outs for the Clinton team are to be determined. There will be multiple times offered, but swimmers only need to attend one session.
